SMNA in the past year approached our City Council Alder (Nasra Wehelie for District 7) to explore plans to complete a proposed walkway to complete the connection of Manchester Park to the northwest corner of the neighborhood across the greenspace drainage area. This was originally planned in the area but was never completed as the neighborhood aged. Funding approval was completed this week for the construction of a culvert crossing. Construction to happen in 2025!
